On 29th December 2019, The Customs Commissioner (Imports – I) at Mumbai Custom Zone 1 announced through public notice no. 123 of 2019 that Mumbai Customs Zone 1 is empanelling CompuBee Technologies Pvt. Ltd.® as a valuation agency for valuing capital goods items or Plant Machinery and Equipment Valuation at Mumbai Customs including second hand imported machinery, equipment, project imports, ships / boats / vessels valuations, etc. at Mumbai Port. This empanelment confirms the confidence of Mumbai Customs Zone 1 in the services provided by CompuBee® so far. We are valuer at Indian customs JNPT Uran, Navi Mumbai since 2011.

The “Custom House Mumbai” existed much before, 1878 when the Sea Custom Act, 1878 was enacted in India. This act was subsequently replaced by Indian Custom Act, 1962. “Mumbai Customs House” is one of the oldest customs houses in India. The opening of the Suez Canal in 1869 revolutionized the maritime trade of Mumbai. It shifted the whole scenario of import and export trade from the East coast to the West and Mumbai port became the principal Gateway of India. In 2013-14, Mumbai Port Handled 41 Million Tons of Import Cargo and 21 Million tons of Export Cargo. It has been significantly helping Indian sea trade.
